Water tanks and filters...

Pure water filters are suitable for purifying your water stored in large or small water tanks.
Going green and collecting rain water, river water or dam water: storing it in say 10 000L water tanks and using it for house hold purposes is all new age.

Here we tell you how simple it is, by using our Pure whole house range of water filters and a few tricks you would never have thought of.

Once you have your water storage tank in place and it's full, be it with bore whole water, or any of the above mentioned sources, simply purchase a Chlorine swimming pool float from Makro or Pick n Pay and place it in the tank. This is, "in part" how your water is being treated before you get it by the municipality.

You see, once the water is in the water tank, it will stagnate and bacteria will quickly form. You combat this with the chlorine.

Chlorine whilst very harmfully if consumed over a long period of time, will kill bacteria and living organisms in the water.

Now all that is required, is to remove the chlorine from the tank water before it will be suitable for consumption. By installing one of our Active Carbon Block water filters..., it will remove all the chlorine from your tank water being pumped back to your home.

Our filters have a limit of no more than: 4 bar water pressure, any thing higher and the internal filters stand a chance of collapsing under the extreme pump pressure. You can always purchase a pressure regulating valve from any plumbing store or directly from us to protect them.
